Another impressive two-year-old for O'Brien

Trainer Danny O'Brien's hot recent run with two-year-olds continued at Sale on Tuesday when he unwrapped impressive three-length debut winner Can't Be Done.

The All Too Hard gelding pushed forward from the outside gate and controlled the tempo from outside the leader before sprinting away to trounce his rivals with Jamie Mott in the saddle.

"It was a very impressive debut," O'Brien said.

"He had trialled very well at Cranbourne twice and today he took another step forward by improving on raceday, so he really does have some significant upside."

O'Brien suggested a trip to town for his second race start was on the cards.

The two-year-old's win follows recent juvenile winners for the stable Lady Lupino, Absolute Flirt and Moldova, as well as stunning trial winner Need New Friends.

"We have a really nice bunch of horses coming through the ranks and it's really exciting for all our owners and staff," the trainer added.
