Starcraft's Sister Transferred To Danny O'Brien

Starcraft's classy younger sister Pin Up has been transferred to the Melbourne stable of Danny O'Brien by her New Zealand owners Waikato Stud.

Pin Up, formerly trained in Sydney by John O'Shea, is one of three Waikato Stud-owned horses to join the O'Brien stable for the spring.

"We felt there will be more black type opportunities in fillies and mares races in Melbourne for Pin Up," Waikato Stud's Mark Chittick told NZTM.

Pin Up has won twice and was stakes placed when second in the Listed C Liberty Plate at Flemington last season.

Group winner Crepe de Chine and unraced filly Splashing Out are the other Waikato Stud horses to join the O'Brien team.

Crepe de Chine was formerly trained in New Zealand by Lance O'Sullivan. Where she won the G3 Lion Red Plate at Rotorua.

As a two-year-old she also won the Listed Cullen Stakes.

Splashing Out is an unraced three-year-old filly by O'Reilly.

O'Brien also trains the classy Danasinga filly Be Delicious for Waikato Stud.

Be Delicious has won three races in Melbourne and finished second in the Group 3 Vanity Stakes at Flemington.
