Glamour Puss impresses with King's Stand run

The King's Stand Stakes, run overnight Australian time, saw a triumph for Takeover Target but showed there is much to look forward to from Glamour Puss.

After settling back in the running, Steven King took the chance to follow Takeover Target throughout the middle stages. When the pressure went on up front, she wound up under the big weight and finished resolutely to be taking ground off the leaders over the last 200m.

Reports from Danny are that she has come through the run unscathed and she is spot on target for her main assignment, the Golden Jubilee Stakes on Saturday evening.

She gets very good weight relief and her 1200m record is exceptional at the highest level.
