Big goals planned for talented filly

Trainer Danny O'Brien has some lofty goals for three-year-old filly I Know That after she underlined her potential with a barnstorming finish to claim a victory at Sandown on Wednesday.

In just her second race start, the daughter of So You Think was able to get herself out of a hopeless position at the 300m, to charge to a classy victory.

"It was an impressive performance. We always felt she had talent but to be able to do what she has done at first starts is exciting," O'Brien said.

"She is a filly we would like to see in an Oaks this season, whether that is Sydney or Adelaide remains to be seen."

The next start for the filly will be back at Sandown in a fortnight over 1600m, and jockey Damian Lane can't wait.
"It was a very good effort to give them a start and pick then up like she did. It wasn't Plan A to be where we were, but she was able to overcome that," Lane said.

"She's a nice filly that is going to race through the grades."
