O'Brien has day out at Geelong

Danny O'Brien had a day to remember at Geelong's first meeting this season on the turf track with four winners.

Champion rider Damien Oliver rode all four winners for O'Brien today, with the champion hoop winning the first five races of the program.

They combined to win with Giant Jewels, Thornado, Buffett and Reputable in Races 1, 3, 4 and 5 respectively, while Oliver also won Race 2 on Looks Perfect.

Reputable, a former English galloper, broke through for his first Australian win as he stepped up to 1700m and O'Brien hinted he would be even better over further.

Three-year-olds Giant Jewels, Buffett and Thornado all scored their maiden victories today at just their second race starts.
