Fashionable fillies are expected to flock to Flemington tomorrow to see the spring racing carnival kick off in style with the Sofitel Girls' Day Out.
Nina O'Brien, wife of Danny O'Brien, will be leading the charge.

"Its a great day, its the first day at Flemington and the opening of spring racing," she says. "I think we'll see a lot of guys flock to the track as well."

She is confident about the chances of her husband's trained Adamantium doing well in the Group 3 over 1200m tomorrow, but says she never bets.

"If the horse wins, that's prize money in itself so why bother? I don't want to jinx it," She says.

Nina wears a dress by Jayson Brundsdon and millinery by Max Alexander, both from Myer.
