ALL IN ORDER FIRST UP
Talented Danny O’Brien sprinter Order Of Command showed he is in for a bold winter campaign with a comfortable first-up win at Caulfield on Saturday.
The son of Squamosa was impressive in the victory as he careered away from his rivals to win eased down by two lengths on the wet track despite being wide throughout the 1200m event.
Jockey Damien Oliver was all praise for the five-year-old.
“He travelled terrifically well throughout and had the race in his keeping a long way out,” Oliver said.
“He is in for a terrific campaign off the back of that performance.”
The win was the gelding’s 7th career victory from 20 starts, which includes 5 second placing also and he has now amassed more than $500,000 in prizemoney.
Trainer Danny O’Brien indicated the Wangoom Handicap at the famed Warrnambool Carnival will be the the next race in his agenda.
