ALLEN CLICKS WITH SIGNORINA

Many early morning trips from Cranbourne to Danny O'Brien's private training facility at 13th Beach is starting to paying dividends for jockey Ben Allen, highlighted by his association with talented filly Signorina.

Allen made it two wins from two rides on the daughter of Zoustar and more look in store for the combination.

"She is a lovely filly with a great attitude and she has a desire to do everything right for you, which holds you in good stead in the finish of the race," Allen said after the win at Mornington on Tuesday.

"I enjoy getting down to Danny's property, which is unbelievable, and teaming up with horses like this one. He is supporting me which is great, so hopefully we can get more winners together down the track."

The three-year-old filly now has two wins from three career starts, which have all been over 1000m, and Allen is confident she can continue her progression.

"She is very professional and the way she come on I can't see why she can't keep improving and I think she could handle a rise in distance as well."
