ANGEL RISES WITH BACK-TO-BACK ROMPS
Grizinger Angel steamrolled her opposition at Geelong on Thursday careering away to win by five lengths eased down.
The win bought up a treble for trainer Danny O'Brien on the day and this victory by the daughter of Harry Angel was her second demolition job in a row this preparation.
She has given her trainer food for thought about whether to tackle better races this Spring with the three-year-old.
"She has always plenty of talent, however she is still a bit quirky and she is not wrapped in the barriers but the boys behind the gates have done a fantastic job getting her into them today," O'Brien said.
"Margins don't lie, not many horses win by five and then come out and do it again at their next start. So we would like to think we could get her into a nice race, whether that is this Spring or in the Autumn remains to be seen.
"She keep learning and getting better every time we take her to the races so she is doing everything she can at the moment."
