BLINKERS PROVE ARTIST'S MUSE
The addition of blinkers has seen Glove Artist return to winning form at Geelong on Friday.
The son of Trapeze Artist won impressively on debut at Wodonga back in September, however it took the gear change to get him back on the winner's list at his ninth start.
The win was impressive as he sat outside the leader before powering away under jockey Jordan Childs.
"He was very good today. The blinkers allowed him to travel keenly in the run and also allowed him to be closer to the speed," Danny O'Brien's Racing Manager Jack Howard said post race.
"The issue since his win was he has been travelling poorly in the middle of his races and giving up 2-3 lengths which he hasn't been able to peg back. But today he was able to be on the speed and the turn of foot he showed late was excellent."
