CAPELLA CLEARS OUT FOR CRUSHING WIN
Japanese mare Capella showed a liking for the heavy conditions presented at Moe on Thursday, cruising to a six-and-a-half length demolition of her rivals.
The five-year-old mare relished the teeming rain and mud under foot as she cleared out from her rivals for the soft win in the 1600m event.

The win was the daughter of Orfevre's first at start eight, having started her career in Japan.
She has had three starts in Australia now and the stable is looking to take the well-bred mare through her grades in the coming months.
