DOUBLE DOUBLE

Trainer Danny O'Brien's hot form continued on Thursday with the Melbourne Cup winning trainer scoring a double for the second consecutive day.

On Wednesday, O'Brien won with the progressive Sea What I See and the regally bred Miss Aria at Caulfield Heath Track's first meeting before winning with Future Monarch at Bendigo and Zaszou at Cranbourne today.

Zaszou's win was impressive as she was pressured in the lead before cruising away for an easy 3-length romp.

"She did a great job as she was coming from a strong form race and she dominated from the front, kicked strongly and won as she liked. It was a great win," jockey Blake Shinn said post race.

It has been an impressive start to the month for the O'Brien's stable as they are running at a 31.43% winning strike-rate having had 11 victories from 35 runners and a healthy place strike-rate of 51.43%.

Shinn has been aboard for five of those wins from just 10 rides for the month.
