EXCEEDING VICTORY

Starblue Consultancy's Shal Exceed made a powerful return to racing with an emphatic victory at Wondonga on Saturday. 

The son of Shalaa has now won twice from five career starts and there looks to be more wins in store on the back of strong performance in the 1100m event. 

Jockey Brad Rawiller was full of praise for the three-year-old, who travelled on the fence behind the leaders before getting clear and taking chase of the leader who has skipped away.

"The way he quickened gave me the feel of a horse that will be winning more races. It was a strong performance as he had to chase hard to win as the seconed horse got a fair break on us. I was impressed with him," Rawiller said.
