EXETER MAKES WISHES COME TRUE

Exeter's dominant front-running victory on Friday night was cheered home by supporters of the Make A Wish Foundation as the five-year-old gelding's win earned the organisation a sizeable donation.

Exeter was selected to race for Make A Wish Foundation as a part of the Moonee Valley Racing Club's Cheering For Charity initative.

The charity also benefitted from the pre-race declaration from owner Jon Lechte who declared he would donate his winning prizemoney percentage if the son of Fastnet Rock saluted.

The all-the-way win made it three victories from his last three starst at Moonee Valley for the Danny O'Brien-trained sprinter.
