EXTREME PERFORMANCE FULL OF PRIDE

It may have taken  her six starts to break her maiden status, but Extreme Pride could not have been more impressive during her five length romp at Pakenham.

The four-year-old made a mess of her rivals in the 1400m event thanks to a polished ride by jockey Brett Prebble.

The former Hong Kong star hoop pushed forward on the daughter of I Am Invincible, but then made the critical decision to withdraw from the speed battle for the lead and settle just behind the leading pair.

“She relaxed beautifully once we eased, and then she was ultra impressive in the run to the line,” Prebble said.

“That won’t be the last race she wins on the back of that performance.”
