HORROR SHOW TURNS INTO TRIUMPH

Punters who took the $1.30 on Sea What I See at Moonee Valley on Friday night where contemplating their punting future as the hot favourite was continually denied any galloping room as the field sprinted for home.

However a cool and calm Blake Shinn kept his nerve and waited for the gap to appear with around 70m to run, and the UK-bred mare exploded to the front for what was a soft win in the 1600m BM64 event.

"I always thought she would win if the run came and if the luck didn't come she was going to be a tragedy beaten, but when it presented she surged through and she won comfortably on the line," Shinn said post-race.

The daughter of Sea The Stars has now made it back-to-back wins to start her Autumn campaign and on the strength of her form it will be sooner rather than later she ends up in a nice race.

"In the end it was a track gallop and she was good enough to win so the future is bright," Shinn added.
