IT'S HER TURN

After many near misses, ultra consistent It’s My Turn broke through for her maiden win at Camperdown on Saturday. 

After 5 places from her first 6 starts, including two nose defeats the daughter of Star Turn rewarded her patient owners with a thrilling win over 1000m.

Jockey Liam Riordan was pleased with the win despite it’s narrow nature. 

“I rode her pretty aggressively to get the win today, but that is not the way to ride her,” Riordan said post race.

“I can’t wait to see her up in grade where she can be ridden with cover and allowed to finish off, I think you will see the best of her then.”
