Keep Cool raids Adelaide again
Victorian raider Keep Cool made it back-to-back wins in the City of Churches with a barnstorming victory on Saturday at Morphettville.
Keep Cool was caught in traffic as the field entered the straight, however talented apprentice Mitchell Speers was able to get him clear and the four-year-old finished strongy to beat the in-form Navillus Superman in a tight finish and bring up his second successive win in Adelaide.
The win in the 1600m event also bought up the a race-to-race double for the gelding's sire High Chaparral.
Flemington trainer Danny O’Brien appears to have placed the emerging type very well and he said there was a chance the horse may head back to Adelaide with Keep Cool and look to make it a hat-trick wins at his next start in a few weeks time.
