LAFARGUE DOMINATES IN ADELAIDE
Trainer Danny O'Brien's hit-and-run mission in Adelaide with Lafargue never looked in doubt on Saturday as the favourite spanked his rivals.
The son of Capitalist showed good ability last preparation and he looks to have returned in excellent order as he proved far too good in the Class 1 handicap at Morphettville.
Ridden by Jason Holder, the four-year-old gelding was sent out a $2.50 favourite in the 1250m event, and despite being stuck three-wide in running, he always travelled well and cleared away for a dominant performance.
O'Brien is looking at potentially testing Lafargue at Moonee Valley at his next start.
