Little sister Belle of ball
Australia's most-talked about filly now has a name to match her attitude.
Black Caviar's two-year-old half-sister, owned by Gnarwarre's BC3 Thoroughbreds, will race as Belle Couture as she looks to emulate the Group 1 winning feats of star sister and brother, All Too Hard.
"Belle Couture is a filly with tremendous poise and strut. She is the princess of our stables," BC3 Thoroughbreds chief executive Bill Vlahos said.
"It's fitting to have a name that reflects such high-end beauty and style."
Connections had hundreds of suggestions sent in from around the world for the Redoute's Choice-Helsinge filly.
Belle Couture has graduated through her BC3 Development program with flying colours and has begun her pre-training at Grace Park.
She will be trained by Barwon Heads-based Danny O'Brien.
"I'm delighted to be training Belle Couture and am looking forward to the exciting times ahead for her owners," O'Brien said.
