LUNA ECLIPSE

Breeze N Luna put a couple of luckless runs behind her with a strong win over 1715m  at Geelong on Friday.

The daughter of Mongolian Khan had been beaten by less than a length at both her runs back this campaign, however jockey Damian Lane made sure there would be no hard luck stories today by dominanting the race from outside the leader. 

"I wanted to be positive as there wasn't much pace on paper and we cruised over and she gave a really good kick at the 300m which won her the race," Lane said post race.

The win was the three-year-old's second of her sevne start career, both of which have come at the Geelong track.

"She loves this circuit and the way she won today I would hope she could win again this preparation," Lane added.
