MAGNY COURS WORTH THE WAIT
It may have only been a Sunday three-year-old maiden in May at Ballarat, but connections were ecstatic with Magny Cours debut victory given the gelding's injury history.
"It's taken a while to get him to the races but it's testament to the work of the guys at Oaklands Lodge, Rosemont Stud and Danny O'Brien Racing. All have done a terrific job to get him through to this point," part-owner Ryan McEvoy said post race.

The son of Shalaa looks to have handy ability and McEvoy is hopeful his horse can build on his excellent first race performance, in which he showed a ton of grit to record the win.
