MCAVANEY LAUDS RIORDAN's COMMITMENT

Legendary Racing commentator Bruce McAvaney has lauded up-and-coming jockey Liam Riordan as the young hoop showed amazing commitment to win aboard Sunday's Best at Cranbourne on Friday night.

The young hoop paid for a helicopter to get him from Geelong to Cranbourne in time to ride the Rosemont Stud-owned, Danny O'Brien-trained mare and it was worth the trip as the young hoop got the job done in the teeming rain.
