MIGHTY BLITZ BY BEAU
Trainer Danny O'Brien Spring continues to prosper with the Melbourne Cup winning producing another impressive winner on the provincials circuit.
Mighty Beau showed the world he has great potential after cruising to a dominant win at Seymour on Thursday at just his second race start.
The son of Brazen Beau took control of the 1422m open maiden early before kicking strongly upon straightening to win easily by more than two lengths.
Jockey Damien Thornton said the three-year-old had a nice future following the win.
"I will put his first start down to the wet track, but today on a dry surface he showed his best and I would expect him to improve further as he still has a lot to learn for a race sense point of view. He is a nice horse," Thornton said.
