MISS MELBOURNE STRUTS HER STUFF

Miss Melbourne rewarded her patient connections at Geelong on Sunday with a classy maiden victory. 

Trainer Danny O’Brien took the conservative approach with the talented daughter of Zoustar by sending her to the paddock following her encouraging debut run in the Spring. 

“She pulled up quite shin sore following that jump out so we gave her a break and she has strengthened further and it was great for her to get the result today,” O’Brien said.

O'Brien said he felt Miss Melbourne has metro class ability and was looking forward to testing her in a strong grade at her next start.
