MUCK LATHER NO WORRIES FOR CHIC

Cheval Chic bounced back onto the winner's list despite totally melting down pre-race at Geelong on Friday.

The talented mare's victory bought up a double for trainer Danny O'Brien, however there were aome concerns pre-race given how much the mare sweated up.

"Full credit to Danny and his team as she is a difficult filly as you only had to looks at pre-race to see how much she gets herslef worked up. The stable have been very patient with her and this is allowing us to see her true ability out on the racetrack," owner Nathan Bennett of Bennett Syndications said post race.

The win was her third from nine starts which also includes two placings. All her wins have been over 1100m and have come on rain affected tracks.

"She is building a nice record and we can't to see her get deeper into her campaign as she is a horse of some talent."
