Danny O’Brien Racing has two leasing opportunities to race horses from the revered Circles of Gold family just for the cost of training fees. There is Mambo Lady, an unraced two-year-old Duke of Marmalade filly, and an unnamed High Chaparral yearling colt available for lease.

The dam of both horses is Lady Circles, who is a daughter of star broodmare and Group 1 winner Circles of Gold, which also makes her a half-sister to champion racehorses Elvstroem and Haradasun. Lady Circles has had four foals to race and they are all winners, including three being stakes placed.

“This is a unique opportunity for people to race two very well bred horses without having to fork out big sums of money,” trainer Danny O’Brien said.

“It’s a lovely family and Lady Circles has a great record as all of her progeny to race have won races, which is a good sign for these two horses.

“The High Chaparral colt is presently being broken-in and he will be having his first educational campaign in the next couple of months, while Mambo Lady has had a strong education and has shown she has ability. She has just returned to work at our Barwon Heads training facility and we are aiming at getting her to the races this campaign.”
