Rose set to blossom in Autumn
Trainer Danny O'Brien couldn't be happier with his dual Group 2 winning mare Miss Rose De Lago heading into the Autumn.
"She had a good break following the Toorak Handicap and she has come back in really nice order and there are a hell of a lot of nice races for a horse like her this Autumn," O'Brien said.
"She has been a terrific mare as she has won every preparation we have had her so we will be aiming to keep that record in tact."
O'Brien said he would look to kick her off in the WFA Group 1 CF Orr Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield in February, the only black type event missing from her resume.
"She won over 1400m at weight-for-age level (in the Group 2 Lawrence Stakes) first-up in the Spring, so that looks an ideal race to start her campaign and we might also take her to Sydney for the Coolmore Classic against the mares also," O'Brien said.
