Seachange has Bullseye on target for the Valley
Trainer Danny O'Brien believes a coastal freshen-up since Another Bullseye's most recent start has agreed with the mare, who will be chasing the third win of her campaign when she runs at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
Another Bullseye won first-up at Pakenham in late March, finished second in the VOBIS Gold Distaff at Caulfield then won again at Flemington.
The mare was unplaced for the first time this preparation when ninth in a 1600m benchmark-78 at Flemington on May 19, prompting O'Brien to give the mare a month before her next start.
"She looks terrific and is fresh and well now," he said.
O'Brien said Another Bullseye had appreciated spending time at his Barwon Heads property, and he expected a good showing from the four-year-old in the Friends of Epworth Plate (1600m) on Saturday.
"Her first few runs were good and then she just had a tough run from a wide barrier last start, so hence we've given her the four weeks between runs," O'Brien said.
"I think she goes to a suitable race on Saturday. She's been racing against the boys and she's back against mares.
"Her work was excellent on Tuesday morning so I'm expecting her to run well."
