Phoenix Global is enjoying being back at Danny O’Brien’s 13th Beach Training Complex as he made it back-to-back wins on Friday. 

The son of All Too Hard had been placed to perfection as proved too classy for his BM58 opposition at Geelong. 

Ridden perfectly by Jye McNeil, the race favourite stalked the speed before overpowering the leaders late for the win.

Four of the six-year-old’s five career victories have come under the tutelage of the Melbourne Cup winning trainer and McNeil was confident the gelding could continue going through his grades given the form he is in.
