SHAM I AM REUNITES WINNING TRIO
Flashy gelding Sham I Am delivered some Christmas cheer for his connections with an authoritative win at Geelong on Boxing Day, and the winning partnership is very familiar with each other.
Singapore based jockey Daniel Moor teamed back up with trainer Danny O’Brien and owner/breeder Uluru Stud for the win in the Class 1 1200m event.
This trio have history having been victorious at Group 2 level with Summer Sham back in 2014, a fact not lost on Moor.
“It is awesome to be back home for a short stay and be able reconnect with such great supporters as Dan and Jeff Dimery,” Moor said.
“And to get them a winner is even better.”
Moor said he expects the son of Shamexpress to continue to win races.
“He is only a little horse, but is very professional and has a good sprint. I like him a lot.
“He showed good gate speed and he ended being too good for them today.”
