Shauquin win is as easy as 1-2-3 for O'Brien-Moor combination
Jockey Daniel Moor is forging a strong partnership with trainer Danny O'Brien with a double at Bendigo on Sunday adding to their win in the Andrew Ramsden at Flemington on Saturday.
When Savabeel three-year-old Shaquin saluted in Race 2 at Bendigo on Sunday, making it a running double for the partnership, also made it three from three for the weekend.
"Daniel is in terrific form. He has been riding very well for us in recent months, every horse is getting their chance which has been terrific," O'Brien said.
Saturday's win aboard De Little Engine in the Andrew Ramsden over 3200m was the second listed win for the combination in recent weeks as it added to Lycurgus' win in the Galilee Series Final.
Moor has also won in town aboard Merriest at Caulfield for the trainer.
"It's been good to get a bit luck for Danny, but at the end of the day you have to the have the cattle and these horses have been turned out a treat by the yard and have made my job easier," Moor said.
