THE GLOVED ONE
Glove Artist made an encouraging winning debut for Danny O'Brien on Tuesday at Wodonga.
The son of Trapeze Artist made easy work of an awkward gate to settle midfield for jockey Billy Egan before rounding the leaders and running clear.
"That was an impressive win as he has so much still to learn," Egan said post-race.
"It was smart placement by the stable as he was able to get the job despite no knowing exactly what it is all about.
"He had a good look once he hit the front, but he did todya on raw ability as there is plenty of improvement to come," Egan added.
The three-year-old son of Trapeze Artist was a $100,000 purchase from the Noorilim Park draft at the 2023 Inglis Premier Sale.
