VERY PROMISING VERSILIA

Jockey Craig Williams has no doubt that we will be seeing Cambridge Stud's promising mare Versilia measuring up in town after she made it back-to-back wins at Pakenham on Thursday night.

The daughter of Snitzel was sent out raging favourite in the 1400m Class 1 event, and she made light work of her opposition for trainer Danny O'Brien.

"The stable have placed her well and she feels like she has improved since the last time I rode her. Her confidence is high and she really did toy with them tonight,"  Williams said post race.

"I would expect you will see her in town next start and performing very well."

The win improved the four-year-old's record to two wins and two placings from six starts.
