Back-to-Back Valley wins for in-form mare

New Zealand-bred mare Hidden Message made it back-to-back city wins at Moonee Valley with a dominant win over 2040m last night.

Trainer Danny O'Brien said the four-year-old daughter of Pentire could graduate to bacl-type staying races given her excellent recent form which include three wins and a second from her past four starts.

"We have always given her plenty of time as we thought she was going to be a lovely staying mare and now she is proving it town we may have to raise the bar and look at getting black-type in her pedigree as she certainly deserves that opportunity," O'Brien said.

The mare has now won five races from 14 starts - four from her past six starts - and the wat in which she dispatched a decent field last night in the $80,000 Aquanas Foods Premium Handicap (2040m) it appears there will be many wins in store for the Flemington trained mare.
