FILLY SHINES IN KILMORE WIN

Well-related filly Glitter N Gold did something her highly credentialled older siblings had not done in their careers when she won at Kilmore on Thursday.

The half-sister to Iconoclasm and Stay Gold has now won as a two-year-old and three-year-old, which is something her older siblings weren't able to do in their careers.

Today's win was excellent placement by trainer Danny O'Brien as the daughter of Choisir proved far too strong for the BM58 grade.

"She is a nice filly from a terrific Rosemont family so the more wins we can get on her pedigree for her future career at stud will be terrific," trainer Danny O'Brien said.

"She does have a bit to live up too as both Iconoclasm and Stay Gold are multiple city winners, but hopefully she can on with it now she matured further."

Glitter N Gold made a winning debut in a two-year-old maiden at Ballarat last year in February and after indifferent Spring campaign, O'Brien made have found the key to her being an Autumn filly.
