MOTT PROVES IT CAN BE DONE

Jockey Jamie Mott has continued his successful return from injury, teaming up with his old mate Can't Be Done and former master Danny O'Brien to win at Ballarat on Sunday.

The win also maintained Mott's tremendous record with O'Brien as the hoop has an 18.7% winning strike rate, which is the best strike rate of the Top 10 winning  jockeys for the Melbourne Cup winning trainer.

Mott has teamed with his former master for 68 winners, the fourth most of any jockey.

"It's always great to team with with Danny as his  horses are always around the mark and I love riding this bloke," Mott said, who scored his third win aboard three-year-old.

"I am thrilled for the owners as this bloke is so honest and it's great to get him back on the winner's list. I am confident he can go on with it."
