PLENTY OF SASS TO COME FROM CLASS FILLY

A trip to Flemington is on the cards for class filly Sass Appeal at just her third career start following her dominant win at Seymour yesterday.

The daughter of So You Think was desperately unlucky not to break her maiden on debut at Sandown earlier in December, but at Seymour she was a class above her rivals as she defeated the promising Forever Jo by a 1.25 lengths with third a further five lengths away.

Jockey Jordan Childs was very pleased with the performance.

"She is a really nice horse as she could have won by more as she was looking around and not concentrating late, but she got the job and I would expect she will take much confidence and experience from her second race start. The sky is the limit for her," Childs said.

Trainer Danny O'Brien is looking at the three-year-old BM70 event over 1400m at Flemington on Saturday, January 17 for her next assignment.
