RUNAWAY LAUNCHES LATE FOR BIG WIN

Some horse just know where the line is and Runaway Soul is one of those horses as he scored another win with last stride heroics at Bendigo on Saturday. 

The in-form gelding has won three of his past four starts by a combined margin of 0.25 lengths.

Jockey Craig Newitt gave five-year-old the perfect ride having him smothered away and coming with a late run. 

"He gave me a great ride, he kept taking the gaps in front of us and i juts love how much he tries, he gave his all and launched late," Newitt said post-race.

"It was a win of a horse that can win more races on the back of today."  

The son of Pariah was an $80,000 purchase from the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and he has now amassed five wins and 10 placings from 23 starts and more than $120,000 in prizemoney.
