Shopaholic out to continue Autumn spree

Star New Zealand bred filly Shopaholic will be out to keep her unbeaten Autumn record in tact on Saturday at Flemington when she lines up in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes.

The daughter of Group winner Spalshing Out, who was also trained by Danny O'Brien, has been unstoppable in three runs this campaign. She has progressed from a win against in fillies in an open event at Caulfield on the way to taking out the Group 3 Vanity Stakes at Flemington before she returned to the Heath last start for another cracking victory in the Group 2 Angus Armanasco.

In the process of her recent hat-trick she defeated Mosheen, who next start won the Group 1 Australian Guineas, and also the highly-spruiked Soft Sand.

"Her Autumn has been fantastic and really a case could be made that she should be undefeated in Australia as she was terribly unlucky in two of her runs at Stakes level in the Spring," O'Brien said.

"She has done very well since her win in the Angus Armanasco and the form around is very strong so we go into Saturday's event confident she will produce another big performance."
