SPAIN BULLSEYE SEES LOVE HOME
Darting jockey Zac Spain produced a bullseye aboard Grinzinger Love at Seymour on Tuesday.
Spain, who recently won a darts tournament in St Kilda, was able to settle the daughter of Hellbent in a forward position before careering away to win comfortably in the1200m BM58 event.
"She put the writing on the wall last start when she finished close up at Werribee despite being in the wrong part of the track. Today I felt like she was never going to lose as we got into a lovely spot and she was always travelling like the winner," Spain said post race.
The win was the three-year-old's third at start 14 and her jockey is confident she can continue her good form.
"She could head to a BM64 and be hard to beat as she had this lot covered from a long way out."
