Syrahbeel racks up another win

Uluru Stud owner Syrahbeel continued her excellent campaign with another victory at Geelong on Tuesday.

The Savabeel filly has now won two and placed third from her three starts this campaign and jockey Craig Newitt believes there are more wins in store for the Trelawney Stud NZ bred.

"That was an strong win, as she always travelled like the winner and I really liked the way she put the race away at the 300m," Newitt said.

"She got a little lost inside the final furlong as she was in front from the top of the straight and although the favourite was coming at her on the line, she heard it coming and was going to dig in for the fight.

"She is just so genuine, there are definately more wins in store for her in the future."

The three-year-old has won at 1000m and 1300m as well as placing at 1200m this preparation, and the Group 1 winning jockey said she had scope to get further.

"I think she would run at a mile no problem at all."
