TICK, TICK , TICK, TICK, BOOM

Lucky Lucky Boom backed up his excellent maiden win with an emphatic victory against older rivals at Sale on Sunday.

The three-year-old has now won two of his five career starts, but the way he has dominated his opposition at his past two starts over 1500m and 1600m, has his connections excited for his future.

"It was an excellent win as he really controlled the tempo of the race and the way he let down was very strong," jockey Lachie Neindorf said of the win post-race.

"Early on he was keen, but when the speed didn't come across and we ended up outside the leader and he relaxed beautifully once he came back to the hindquarter of that horse.

"And I knew from watching his last start that he could sustain a gallop and we got going early and he was never challenged. Also don't underestimate him beating the older horses, it's not an easy thing to do."
