Winning Order for O'Brien

Lightly raced Order of Command made it two from two this campaign with a dominant victory at Ballarat on Thursday over 1100m.

And it was the strength of that win which has trainer Danny O'Brien bullish about his future.

"Today was a big test stepping out of maiden grade for the first time, and he passed with flying colours," O'Brien said.

"On the strength of that win we will bring him to town where I would expect he will be highly competitive."

O'Brien is eyeing a heat of the Creswick sprint series with the three-year-old son of Squamosa on his home track at Flemington on June 23.

"Even though I think he will get out to 1400m eventually, I am keen to keep him to sprint trips as he is relaxing so well and giving such a strong kick at the end of his races.

"Getting to see him down the straight against his own age group will be exciting."
